Department-wide Responsibilities

As a member of the Sales Team this position will be responsible for promoting LRS and our mission. You will serve as the face of the company, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business. Sales team members reach out to prospects, customers, investors and/or the community, while creating an overarching image that represents the company in a positive light. The sales team builds relationships with our customers and work together to identify a customer’s unique needs, making sure that those needs are met.

Responsibilities In Your Role

  Support and assist the sales team with executing our sales plan and goals.
  Proactively lead prospect communication including proposal generation, webforms, fee disclosures for new clients, sales calls, portal/online account demos and more.
  Manage our sales CRM application and contribute to the development and tracking of sales opportunities.
  Qualify opportunities, assisting prospective clients with evaluating viability of our solutions, service selection, vendor/partner selection, and pre-implementation qualification.
  Convert prospects to active clients by working with client services team as they prepare and obtain agreement and intake kits, fee disclosures and other notices, coordinate with 3rd party vendors, and install clients in our systems.
  Collaborate with the marketing department to deploy a sales calendar and prospecting strategy executed via email, phone and online resources.
  Development of sales materials and literacy around new service offerings.
  Conduct provider searches; CPA’s, Attorneys, Advisors, Payroll providers. Introduce providers to sales team and nurture these valued referral opportunities.
  Create service cost comparisons and contribution illustrations.
  Communicate expectations and options to guide potential clients through plan implementation, terminations, mergers, and acquisitions.
  Learn and understand retirement plan qualification requirements, retirement plan documents, discuss plan provisions and the impact to potential client and participants.
  Act as point of contact to handle inquiries from finance team in relation to contracts and client pricing.

Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  Minimum of 2 years industry or 2 years of related industry (banking, finance, investments, wealth management) experience, preferred.
  ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certified, preferred.
  Experience in a client facing, public interface, or sales environment preferred.
  Experience in browsing network directories and sales contact software systems, preferred.
  Proficiency is required with Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
